Fun with family!

We've just had a fabulous visit with Chris' parents ("Mimi" and "Dabo" to Evelyn). Evelyn was thrilled to spend so much time with her Mimi and Dabo and, for the most part, openly preferred them to Chris and me. It's been so sweet to hear Evelyn, giddy and running into the next room, s she calls out "Mimi! Where's Mimi? Hi Mimi!" or "Come see Dabo!"



Evelyn had a lot of fun showing off her favorite activities, like music class. They also had fun playing outside, kicking the ball, playing trains/dolls/tent, and working on art projects. Speaking of art, Evie learned how to glue and created a colorful stick corral for her little Labrador Retriever figurine.






One day, Evelyn woke up from a nap to find a new sandbox on the deck and a race car swing in the backyard. If she had her way, Evie would be in the swing right now. She was beaming! "Look at me swinging!" I know that Evie will be a little sad in the morning when she realizes that Mimi and Dabo aren't coming over. We can't wait to see them again on their next visit.
