Evelyn and I were taking an afternoon stroll along the lake when we come upon our friendly neighborhood heron (at least I think it is a heron). And actually, the bird is rather shy. Evelyn was miraculously quiet in the bird's presence, but I'm pretty sure that the small sound of my camera lens frightened him (or her?) away.
My video is in .AVI format and, although that format is supported on this website, it is having trouble loading. So, in lieu of the footage, enjoy this photo! We may have a soccer star on our hands.
